Nothing much happened since my last post on Saturday evening. Ever since Singapore was out of the AFF Suzuki Cup Tournament, I really haven't been much into it, whatever for? Guess guess we'll know that those Asia powerhouses will win it, like Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand etc.

Well the first leg finals was on Sunday night? Malaysia vs Indonesia. What a shock. How can Malaysia get to the finals? Maybe they got lucky in the round robins. Anyway, not as if Singapore stood a chance anymore, the match ended in a 3-0 win for the Malaysians. Normally the headlines the next day would be how commendable the Malaysian Tigers defeated Asian Powerhouse Indonesia during their 1st leg of the Finals. Come to think of it, why isn't the Finals in a one-match only on a neutral ground like Vietnam (host country)?

Hmm... wrong headlines, people in KR are already on the topic of how the Malaysian crowds are using green pointing lasers to the eyes of the players and trust me, it'll definitely 'blind' you for awhile. It can get pretty irritating if you are aiming for a shot or pass.

The score was still 0-0 until 53rd minute when the Indonesian custodian complained about the fans pointing lasers at his eye and the match organisers told the crowd off that if this continues, the match will have to be rescheduled. This caused a stop to take place momentarily and halfway, a fan even threw explosives into the pitch for some unknown reasons and I believe he was arrested during the match. Perhaps the video below sums this up a little...

Ok, after that match continued and Indonesia conceded 3 goals from then onwards. All 3 goals scored by Malaysia has to be considered skillful and classy. But I guess everyone didn't like how the fans were 'indirectly' causing Indonesia to lose focus after the temporal stop.

This is also the reason why "HATE MALAYSIA" is trending in Twitter. I believe Malaysia played the game pretty well as they got right back into the game during the stop and didn't lost focus. But what a shame for its fans, contributing hate towards their own country and leave a bad image of their country...
