Merry Christmas everybody... we have the cold weather to grace this special occasion as well in Singapore =) Woke up early today to head to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. There will sure be a huge crowd there so our chapter chartered a bus to take us there. Lengthy bus ride but nothing beats the front seats over viewing the dashboard and road.

The first thing I realised when the bus turned into the Kallang Leisure Park from Nicoll Highway was "Where is the 'Old Lady of Kallang?!'" Its' high-walled enclosure and skyscraper-liked floodlights would usually be the first thing anyone would see within the vicinity. Got off the bus and saw a section of the stands left, covered with blue canvas. The rest was reduced to nothing but rubbles.

Had many fond memories of the National Stadium. Many of which are NDPs with either my father or mother to watch either ones perform each year in the past. I admit that place isn't the best place for any concert-liked events because its' seating plan is hard to accommodate each and every audience. On top of that, no colourful spotlight scaffolds could be suspended there nor any LED-decorated stage could be used. IMO, Marina Bay Floating Platform is the best venue to host NDP, hands down. Only downside is that the performers has to put up 3 NE Shows, 1 Preview and 1 Actual Event compared to National Stadium's 1 Preview cum NE and 1 Actual.

Ok, that's so random about NDP. Erm, we went there pretty early and got the best seats in the house! Directly facing the stage and a good view of the show. LOL at Sigmund for leading his family to the wrong side of the Stadium in the wrong RHQ! So he has to look to his left throughout the show and he can't do the RHQ cheer haha!

The show isn't too bad... thank goodness I declined when Weiming asked me to join the FD in the front but I should have joined because the shirt looked pretty nice and my cousins are there as well. And I saw how Sigmund laughed with Eugene when the hosts introduced themselves. Kept calling me... zzz. Zhu Yong Qing? Ex-mediacorp artiste but I don't seem to know him except for a radio DJ and Jeff Wang.

Took the chartered bus back to Lot'1 snacked a little before coming back home... =)
